One of Ramses II biggest goals was to be known as the greatest warrior in Egypt for his 96 years he lived. He liked the image of himself defending his kingdom by himself. He achieved this goal when he won the war over the rebels. In honor of this, he built a new city. Another goal he had was to be known as the most famous pharaoh in the world. He probably achieved this goal when he built over 30 monuments.
